Background:


Lars Hansen's research focuses on time series econometrics, quantitative analysis of dynamic equilibrium models, and asset pricing. He is the co-author of Rational Expectations Econometrics. Hansen is a fellow of the Econometric Society, who in 1984 awarded him the Frisch Prize, and a member of the National Academy of Sciences.
